Pic of Tanya

Hi! I’m Tanya Noel – educator, microbiologist, and academic advisor in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of Windsor.

Click on ‘About’ to find out more about me, or visit my blog to find out what I’ve been thinking about recently. There is a little information about my teaching as well.

Please note that while I supervise undergraduate student research (on microbiology education projects), I do not supervise graduate (MSc, PhD) students.

Current students can book advising appointments here: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/BiologyBookings@uwindsor.ca/bookings/

Contact me: Email: tnoel@uwindsor.ca

Note: With current COVID-19 restrictions at the University of Windsor (and the US/Canadian border), email is the best way to reach me right now!

* A nucleoid is the chromosome region in a bacterium or archaean – it’s not in a nucleus, but it’s there!
